Honolulu firefighters responded to a house fire in Kaneohe early Thursday morning.
The fire broke out just before 2 a.m. on Kalenakai Place near Kaneohe Bay Drive.
According to officials, two women who live there made it out of the house, but one woman in her 60s needed medical attention. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The fire was under control within 20 minutes.
According to HFD Capt. Terry Seelig, the fire appears to have started on the second floor.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
