A home in Iroquois Point was destroyed by fire Saturday afternoon.
It's located in a community called the Waterfront at Puuloa.
The fire started a little after 2:30 at a town house on Kela place and was under control about 15 minutes later.
A father and son were at home at the time but they got out safely.
The family's dog did not survive.
Investigators say the fire started in the kitchen, but they're still trying to figure out what caused it.
Damage is estimated at $350,000.
