Passengers on board a Delta Air Lines flight had quite the scare Wednesday afternoon.
Their flight to Los Angeles was on the reef runway for takeoff when six tires blew.
Wiki Wiki Shuttles and fire crews gathered around the plane to get passengers safely back to the terminal and to make sure there was no threat of fire.
The flight was supposed to depart at about 12:30 p.m.
Delta mechanics are assessing the situation and will make the repairs to the tires before putting the plane back into service.
No injuries reported.
