It would bring jobs, would bring a lot of tax revenue for the city and will definitely bring a lot of room rental nights," PACREP manager Jason Grosfeld said.
Construction will begin later this year and the building will be completed in 2016.
Prices for the units range from $500,000 to $15 million for the penthouse.
