A damaged water line caused a traffic tie-up at one of the main roads in Honolulu on Wednesday.
The eastbound lanes of Kapiolani Boulevard were blocked off while crews worked to fix the broken hydrant lateral.
The incident was reported shortly after 10 a.m.
The Board of Water Supply says water service to nearby businesses were not affected.
Repairs to the line were completed and the road was reopened.
About 40 students got sick and 25 of them, along with two adults, were taken to the hospital. Officials are now taking a look at what they ate for lunch.
