The Coast Guard is asking for the public's help in identifying the owner of an eight to 10 foot red and yellow kayak found floating off Maui.
Officials say the kayak was floating about two miles offshore of Makena.
The Coast Guard has not received any reports of missing persons or individuals in distress.
The kayak did not have identification on it and it did not have any equipment inside.
The Coast Guard is working with Maui Fire Department to determine who the owner may be.
Anyone who recognizes the kayak or knows who the owner may be is asked to call the Sector Honolulu Command Center at (808) 842-2600.
