The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office has confirmed that the body found in Waianae Monday evening is missing visitor Ivanice "Ivy" Harris.
The 29 year old was visiting Hawaii from Oregon with friends and was last seen Thursday outside of a bar in Waikiki.
Her family says they knew something was wrong when they didn't hear back from her.
"Very unusual. We're close, we're very close. Especially all of the girls. It's five of us, we constantly keep in contact with each other," Harris' cousin Charkyra Kahey said.
Harris' body was found in the brush area near Yokohama Bay at about 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
