A Big Island man is now facing several charges after an incident on Wednesday night.
Police have charged 45-year-old Peter Lopes Jr. on nine counts including abuse of a household member and leaving the scene of an accident.
His bail has been set at $123,000.
Police say he assaulted a 42-year-old woman at a home in Hawaiian Paradise Park. He then left that house, hit another vehicle, left the scene of that collision then went to a home in Hawaiian beaches where he fired a gun.
As a convicted felon, he's not allowed to have a firearm or ammunition.
Lopes was arrested yesterday and is due in court on Monday.
