Two people were taken to the hospital after a four-vehicle crash on the H-1 Freeway Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at about 8 a.m. on the H-1 Freeway westbound prior to the Waimalu off ramp.
According to the Honolulu Emergency Services Department, a 32-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman were taken to the Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
The first runner to cross the finish line of the 2013 Honolulu Marathon was Gilbert Chepkwony who finished in 2:18:47.
