Rap Reiplinger was unquestionably a comic genius. HTY pays tribute to the insightful humor of a man obsessed with capturing and celebrating the diverse humanity of Hawaii. The Emmy Award winning Rap actually started out as an HTY actor and we are thrilled to bring his work to a new generation of Hawaiian youth and families. This production is a collection of Rap’s family appropriate work. If you are seeing Rap’s work for the first time or longing for hanabatta days you are sure to leave the show chuckling.
