Three people were rescued after being swept out to sea on Oahu's North Shore.
According to the Honolulu Emergency Services Department, the incident happened at about 12 p.m. Monday. Officials say two women, ages 19 and 20, and an 18-year-old man were swept off the reef near Sharks Cove.
Ocean Safety lifeguards and Honolulu firefighters performed the rescue.
The three victims were taken to the Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
