UPDATE: Honolulu police have opened an investigation into the death of a man whose body was found on a road in Kahaluu Sunday night.His body was discovered near the Hygenic Store around 8 p.m.
Police believe the man was in a truck with several other people when he fell out.
The city medical examiner says the man died of head injuries due to falling from a moving vehicle.
His manner of death was an accident.
HPD's traffic investigators have classified the case as a failure to render aid.
Police are asking for witnesses to come forward by calling #529-3499.
His identity has not yet been released.
