UPDATE: A 60-year old Honolulu woman was taken in critical condition after being hit when trying to stop her car from being stolen.
The incident happened around 6 p.m. Sunday night at the upper deck of the parking lot at Kahala Mall near Barnes & Noble.
Police say the victim was trying to stop her car from being stolen when she was struck by the car, which then sped away.
The victim taken to Queen's Medical Center in critical condition but has since improved to guarded condition.
Police say the suspects are two males in their 20s.
The vehicle was a blue, 1992 4-door Honda Accord with license plate number: EPT 627.
Police reclassified the case as an attempted murder.

There's been another hit and run crash -- this time in Kahala.Police say just before 6 p.m. on Sunday, a 61-year-old Kalihi woman walking though the parking lot of Kahala Mall, near Barnes and Nobles, was hit by a car, and the car took off.
Police say the woman hit her head on the ground and was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but her condition has since improved.
Police say the suspect's vehicle is an older light blue four-door car ... possibly a Honda that was made in the late 90's.
