The Coast Guard and a private contractor are working to remove a boat that sank off of Waikiki.

The 28-foot vessel named "Coconut Rhumb" was spotted Saturday afternoon after it ran aground off the Outrigger Reef on the Beach Hotel.

One man was on the boat and he was not injured.

A good Samaritan tried to help him remove his boat, but then it ended up sinking.

The Coast Guard says there are no reports of oil leaks or other pollution.
