The H-2 Freeway going south near Mililani was reopened at 3 p.m. after an auto accident closed it two hours before.

Witnesses say two vehicles were involved, including an SUV that flipped over after striking a stalled vehicle in the middle southbound lane.

According to Emergency Medical Services officials, a 30-year-old woman, a 31-year-old man and a 9-year-old boy were all taken to the Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.

Auwe, I wonder where the driver of the stalled vehicle got their license from. The first thing you're supposed to do is turn on your hazard lights (the big red button on your dash board) and then try to pull off to the right onto the shoulder. Not stop in the middle of the freeway and try to restart your engine. Duh?!!!

Another stalled car, in the middle lane too? When are we going to start fining these motorists for creating a hazardous situation on our freeways? This accident would not have happened if the car did not stall.

Stalled car in middle of road. Clear, sunny day. Driver that hit stalled car not paying attention. How can he/she not see the car not moving? Coming down that stretch you can see hundreds of feet ahead. Had to be speeding too if couldn't avoid hitting it. Slow down and pay attention.
