Several infant deaths have prompted the Consumer Product Safety Commission to issue a warning about sling carriers for babies.

At least 14 deaths associated with sling-style infant carriers are being investigated by the CPSC.

The agency says the sling's fabric can press against an infant's nose and mouth possibly suffocating them.

The CPSC advises parents to make sure the infant's face is visible at all times while in the carrier.

After receiving more than a dozen reports of injuries including five reports of partial blindness these coil nailers are no longer being sold.

The maker, Hitachi Koki sold about 50-thousand nail guns at Lowe's, Home Depot and other home improvement stores.

If you own this coil nailer contact Hitachi Koki for a free repair.

These holiday-themed charm bracelets for kids contain high levels of cadmium.

If ingested, it can be toxic causing health effects.

The bracelets came in two styles and were sold at discount and dollar stores nationwide.

If you have consumer concerns, call Action Line at #591-0222 Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or email actionline@khon2.com.
