JAI CUNNINGHAM - ReporterKHON2 HAWAII'S MORNING NEWS
Jai Cunningham joined Hawaii's Morning News Team in March 2008.
He started full-time at KHON2 in August 1992. He began his career as a sports reporter. He spent several years as the weekend sports anchor, eventually moving into the sports director position for nearly a year. In April 2003, Jai moved to the news department as the weekend anchor. In September 2007, he joined Tannya Joaquin as co-anchor of Hawaii at Five before moving to the mornings. Some of the thrills of his career include interviewing such big-name stars as Shaquille O'Neal, Magic Johnson, Dan Marino, and Kurt Warner, just to name a few. And, he started as an intern at KHON2 in 1990, getting to write stories that were voiced by the legendary Les "The General" Keiter.
