Rail Transit Meetings

Mayor Mufi Hannemann is supporting a steel on steel rail system, and plans a series of community meeting on the transit issue before the election.

The meetings will begin next week Tuesday, October 14th and continue until the 23rd at locations around the Island.
Hannemann's opponent, Ann Kobayashi supports a rubber-tire on concrete mass transit system.


Here are the scheduled meetings for Honolulu Rail's Transit Project:

All Meetings are from 6-8 p.m.

October 14, Holomua Elementary School
October 15, Manoa Elementary School
October 16, Waipahu Intermediate School
October 21, Blaisdell Exhibition Hall
October 22, Farrington High School
October 23, Mililani Waena Elementary School

Comprehensive Information on the project will also be available at the Neil Blaisdell Exhibition Food and New Product Expo October 10-12.
