The state wants to create a natural reserve to help protect endangered plants and animals.
The proposal is to create the Poamoho Natural Area Reserve in the upper portion of the 'Ewa Forest Reserve.
DLNR officials continue to accept public testimony by e-mail, fax or mail.
The deadline to submit testimony is this Friday.
