Children love to display their art work, and a mobile is a wonderful way to do it. A coat hanger makes an excellent base, and is particularly easy to hang when the project is complete. Have your children decide what they'd like to display on their mobiles. Paper snowflakes? Paper birds or fish they've decorated or colored brightly? Maybe they want to cut out the letters of their names in construction paper. As long as the items are balanced evenly on the hanger, almost anything can be used. Clear fishing line, yarn, or even twine can be used to hang the objects from the bottom of the coat hanger. Tie each string securely to prevent the items from falling off, and then display from the ceiling, a window, or even the bottom of a wall cabinet.
