Apple Almond Crisp Sandwich

Ingredients


**Milton's Sandwich Making Contest - Finalist**
  • 2-3 slices of bacon
  • 1 medium apple, peeled and sliced
  • Dash cinnamon
  • Dash sugar
  • 2 slices of your favorite Milton bread
  • 2 tbsp almonds, chopped
  • 3 slices turkey
  • 1 slice provolone cheese

Directions

In a small saucepan, sauté apples, cinnamon and sugar until apples are softened and a sauce forms. Layer turkey, bacon, and cheese, on lightly toasted bread and drizzle with apple 'sauce' and chopped almonds.

Enjoy the apples as a side dish!
