Hawaii's Kitchen: Surf and Turf

Manolo visits with the guys from the Alley and who share this recipe for onolicious sweet sour ribs:

5 lbs Spareribs
½ cup Vinegar
1 cup Sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 ¼ cup Shoyu
¾ cup water
2 oz ginger
2 oz garlic
½ tsp five spice
Slurry to thicken

Brown spare ribs in a little cooking oil, then add the rest of the ingredients. Boil then simmer covered for two hours. Then mix 1/8 cup of water with 1/8 cup of corn starch, add this on and let it thicken. Enjoy!
