Follow KHON2 News on Twitter
To coincide with the launch of the new KHON2 News website, we’ve also launched our official Twitter page!
You’ve probably heard a lot about Twitter recently, and some of you might still be confused as to what it is.
Twitter is a free social networking service that allows its users to follow each other’s updates known as “tweets.”
What’s unique about Twitter is that it’s also a micro-blogging service. That means users can only post a “tweet” that is 140 characters or less. These “tweets” are posted on the user’s profile page and it’s immediately available to other users known as “followers.”
There are multiple ways to receive “tweets,” like through email, RSS feeds, Short Message Service (SMS), and other applications.
You can make your Twitter page as public or as private as you want. You can control who gets your “tweets” to just your friends or to anyone with a Twitter account. It’s completely up to you.
Our goal is to use the @KHONnews Twitter page to deliver the news to you throughout the day.
We also want to hear back from you! Let us know what’s going on in your community and which stories you’re interested in. The @KHONnews Twitter page is just another way for us to talk to with about the issues that matter the most.
