HONLULU - The State Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists that previously scheduled full lane closures on Kalanianaole Highway between the Ka Iwi Scenic Lookout and the Makapuu Beach Park will be postponed on Tuesday night, January 19, through Wednesday morning, January, 29 during project inspections.
Nighttime closures will resume on Wednesday night and continue again on Thursday night form 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Motorists traveling between Wimanalo and Hawaii Kai are advised to use the Pali Highway as an alternate route during nighttime construction hours. Roadwork is weather- permitting.
