A break from the holiday rush is coming up starting Saturday.
That's when the state will suspend most roadwork through the New Years holiday.
Projects on state roads like the freeways, Kalanianaole Highway and Fort Weaver Road will be on hold.
Roadwork that does not include lane closures may still be scheduled. Emergency situations will not be affected by scheduled roadwork suspensions.
