Miami Beach officials are trying to give a popular feathered resident the boot but he's not leaving without a fight.A rooster known as "Mr. Clucky", has lived in south beach for years, entertaining onlookers on the city's famed strip. But recently, his loud early morning routine has ruffled some feathers. The animal's owner, Mark Buckley, was given a citation for having a farm animal within city limits and told the bird would have to go within ten days.
"Everybody loves Mr. Clucky. All my neighbors know him and they love him very much. There are just a few mean people trying to hurt the little rooster," says Buckley.
Buckley paid a fine and requested that Mister Clucky have his day in court.
He's even taken his fight to the internet with a site dedicated to keeping the animal put: www.mrclucky.com.
Mr. Clucky will receive notice of his court date by mail.
