Kaua`i families are invited to East Kauai’s 9th Annual Family Summit on Saturday, tomorrow from 1 until 5pm in the Kapaa High School courtyard.  This fun and informative afternoon is an opportunity to find what resources are available to Kaua`i families.  It’s free and there’ll be plenty of food.  They’re expecting 1000 or more.

And tomorrow night the West Kauai Rotary  will celebrate the birthday of Scottish poet Robert Burns ( he wrote Auld Lang Syne) at the Waimea Plantation Cottages.  Pupus, no host cocktails, and silent auction will begin at 5pm.  There will be a musical procession of Celtic pipes and drums and afterwards, a buffet dinner will be served.  Cost is $70 per person.  The Burns Supper is a non-profit event sponsored by the West Kauai Rotary to provide scholarships for students in Waimea.  For tickets and information please call Waimea Plantation Cottages
