The Department of Emergency Management will reveal its updated Tsunami Evacuation Zone maps for Oahu Monday.
It's the first update in nearly 19 years.
Work on the new maps began in 2004 and was funded by the Federal Tsunami Mitigation Grant.
A series of public workshops will be held next month for residents to see a preview of the maps.
The first meeting is scheduled for Monday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Beach Elementary.
