On Maui, more than 20 dancers took part in a Tahitian dance flash mob.They surprised beachgoers, some of whom quickly grabbed their cameras, at Ka'anapali Beach last Friday.
The dancers were from the Te Tiare Patitifa halau from Wailuku.
Organizers say they wanted to put a cultural spin on flash mobs, and showcase the talent of their young performers.
They also wanted to promote the 13th annual Keiki Hula Festival which took place over the weekend at Lahaina Cannery Mall.
