The young men of Damien Memorial school attended a mass this morning in honor of Saint Damien.

About 500 students and faculty members walked from their campus to the Co-Cathedral of Saint Theresa.

"To show people this is his message and we have all these men here who are going to continue his work," says Jerick Sablan, Senior.

"To continue his message to people to always sacrifice for the wellbeing of others," says Sablan.

Damien Memorial School is named in his honor.

Father Damien was canonized two weeks ago in a ceremony at the Vatican in Rome.
