Pirates have invaded Heeia Kea Boat Harbor.
Everyone from locals to visitors and fans of all ages are taking part in the action.
"We don't get to see ships and movie star and actors too often,” said Kaneohe resident Robin DeRego.
The DeRego family first spotted the Queen Anne's Revenge from their home on Kaneohe Bay on Sunday.
The ship of Pirate Blackbeard is "On Stranger Tides" at the pier, docked for the filming of the new “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie.
Four generations of the DeRego family gathered to get up close and personal with the set and to watch a rehearsal fight scene on deck.
"Everybody hoping to see Johnny Depp,” said Stacie Mendez. "Even though he is over 40, little 18-year-olds still in love with him so they wanna see him."
No sign of Johnny Depp yet.
“Pirates” is hoped to bring added tourism and exposure to the island.
So far coins are already rolling in.
"This is good for us, the small local mom and pop store, yeah, we have everybody coming down, they all coming down with smiles and their cameras,” said Sharon Pisciotto of The Deli.
She says the production crew will be there for at least two weeks.
