At 7-feet tall, 310-pounds, Matt Morgan is one of the most imposing figures in professional wrestling.

But before becoming a star on the canvas, the Fairfield, Connecticut native was a force on the court, the basketball court, right here in the islands.

Rob DeMello pinned down an interview with the man known as the "Blueprint", on this week's edition of the 76 Premium Profile.

Before he was TNA's Blueprint, Matt Morgan was in the blue and white of Chaminade.

Number 50 arrived in '97, where the transfer from Division 1A Monmouth, spent the final two seasons of his basketball career.

It was also where he met his eventual wife, then softball standout, Kamehameha graduate, Larissa Vasper who he credits as his inspiration.

After wrapping up his time with the Silverswords, Morgan hit the weights and began chasing his dream.

And after just one year running the ropes of the squared-circle, the big man was called up to the WWE, where he learned the method to the madness.

After three years in the WWE, Morgan signed on with the upstart TNA organization following a stint in Japan.

Over the last four years, the dubbed DNA of TNA has blossomed into a main eventer.

2010 was a mighty productive year for Morgan.

Outside of climbing the ranks of sports entertainment, he also began to build his acting resume, getting his cinematic feet wet in a guest role on the Fox television hit, The Good Guys.

To say the 34-year-old is living his dream would be a "Morgan-sized" understatement.

The Blueprint says his path to clotheslines and cameos began in the islands, a place he hopes to one day again, call home.

Up next for Morgan, number 1 contenders match for the world heavyweight championship this Sunday on Pay-Per-View.
