Although he refused to speak to Khon2 on-camera, Honolulu mayor Mufi Hannemann has clarified his position on the Civil Unions Bill.

Hannemann told the Star-Advertiser on Saturday that like Hawaii Governor, Linda Lingle, he would have vetoed House Bill 444, calling it tantamount to marriage.

The mayor says he is all for expanding gay rights under Hawaii's reciprocal benefits law but draws the line when it comes to marriage, which he says is between one man and one woman.

Hannemann, a Democrat, will be running for Governor.

Yes, But? There can be only One. You can't eat the cake and have it all. That is not a decision. That is similiar to what lingle did. lingle did not make a decision that many would not make. Another But.
