Gladys Burrill holds the world record for being the oldest female to finish a marathon, and on Friday, 92-year old "Glady" was honored by Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle for her record-setting accomplishment at the Honolulu Marathon last month.

Glady had come up short in two previous attempts at finishing the Honolulu Marathon but her determination this year helped her to end on a strong note.

"I was exhilarated and to see president Jim Barahal there waiting for me and all the staff and all my well wishers it was unbelieveable," Glady said.

Glady still isn't sure if she'll do the marathon again next year, but she says she's still training every day just in case.
