For those leaving the fireworks to the professionals, there are four shows on Oahu.
They are in Waikiki, launched near the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel at 8:45 p.m., the Halekulani Hotel at midnight, at Aloha Tower Marketplace at midnight and on the Leeward coast at the Ihilani Resort and Spa at Ko Olina at midnight.
On Maui, there will be midnight fireworks shows in Wailea, Hana, and on the island of Lanai.
On the Big Island, the four seasons Hualalai will host a midnight show.
On Kauai, the fireworks will go off at 9:30 p.m. at Poipu Beach.
