Lawmakers will head back to the state capitol for the 2012 session on January 18.
The 26th legislative session starts at 10 a.m. As in the two previous years, there will be no pomp and circumstance.
Festivities have been scaled back because of the slow economic recovery, so there will be no entertainment or guests on the chamber floor.
Speeches will also be limited, so lawmakers say they can get to work immediately.
