The last remaining hotel on Molokai has undergone a make-over and now has a new name.
The "Aqua Hotel Molokai" was recently purchased by Beachtree Properties.
The 53 room ocean-front hotel has beach-side dinning and a freshwater swimming pool.
Aqua hotels and resorts was selected to re-brand the hotel.
"Probably as much intrigued with the destination as with the hotel and with all the other hotels shut down I think they saw the opportunity," said Bill Henderson of Aqua Hotels and Resorts.
Aqua hotels is a locally founded company.
The new owners hope both kama`aina and visitors will take advantage of the new upgrades.
Rooms start at $135 per night.
