The best of the 'text' gathered at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand today to try and claim the title of Hawaii's fastest texter.
People from throughout Hawaii came to the 2nd annual Hawaii's Fastest Texter Contest which was part of the annual Okinawan Festival.
John Medeiros and his fast fingers topped the competition.
He not only earned the respect of his fellow texters but also walked away with the grand prize of $1000.
