Assistant Business Manager
Immediate Full-Time Opening
KHON2 — Hawaii's news leader — is seeking an Assistant Business Manager to handle the station's accounting, administration and information systems. The successful candidate will work with a small staff, focusing primarily on the day to day accounting operations, including handling cash receipts, billing, accounts payables, account reconciliations, month-end closings, financial statement preparations, and the budgeting/reporting process.
A degreed business professional with accounting management experience is preferred. In this role, you will deal with multiple departments. Having strong communication skills is key, coupled with the ability to work with varied personalities.
Qualifying Attributes:
- Ability to multi-task and set daily, weekly and monthly priorities
- Have a high degree of computer literacy, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office — specifically Outlook and Excel
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Be extremely reliable and detail oriented
