Starting Friday, January 20, McDonald's Restaurants of Hawaii will launch a new Happy Meal that automatically includes a serving of apple slices.
The new Happy Meal is being introduced nationwide.
The new Happy Meal includes apple slices as a side to the choice of a hamburger, cheeseburger or chicken mcnuggets and a choice of beverage, including fat-free chocolate milk and 1 percent low fat white milk.
In addition to apple slices, the meal with automatically come with new smaller size french fries. Customers can also choose to request two portions of apple slices instead of french fries.
