The closure of Hawaii Medical Center's two hospitals continues to have a ripple effect on the community. The latest effect has yet to surface in high numbers but health leaders are concerned it has the potential to rise and could cost someone their life.

Smucker's is recalling its Natural Peanut Butter Chunky due to possible salmonella contamination. The product would have been sold only from Nov. 8 through Nov. 17. No illnesses have been reported.
