Hawaii's Most Wanted: Mark Debarge

On this edition of Hawaii's Most Wanted we feature a man who's wanted on eight warrants in connection with robbery and assault cases.

Honolulu police are looking for Mark Debarge.

"On July 21, 2002, at 5:45 p.m. Debarge approached a group of males at Kahala Neighborhood Park, demanded money. When one of the males refused the money he punched them in the face," said Sgt. Kim Buffett of CrimeStoppers.

Debarge was arrested for robbery. Police say Debarge has a history of punching people in the face.

"On May 29, 2009, at 12:01a.m., same type of incidents, where three males are walking on Ala Moana Boulevard. Debarge approaches them demands money, brandishes a pair of brass knuckles. When the males refuse he strikes them in the face," Buffett said.

Debarge is now wanted on eight warrants totaling $130,000 for not showing up to court, and for not complying with the terms of HOPE Probation.

Mark Debarge is 27-years-old, 6-feet tall,150 pounds.

"He has 28 prior arrests and is known to frequent all parts of the island," Buffett said.

And the man we featured last weekend was arrested on Monday morning in Waianae.

Kawaiho'ola'okalani Luhia was wanted on a two warrants totaling $66,000 in connection with a burglary case.

Sad to say, but I dated his younger brother about 9 years ago..Back then they claimed them selves as the "Kuliouou Boys" so even though that was a very very long time ago, you could start there..Sorry, I know im not much help..Just really sad that he never grew up..He was a little punk back then, figured he'd grow out of it..

I was attacked by this man before and it's disturbing to know that he's not locked up where he belongs. They better catch him before he really hurts someone badly. He will continue to commit these offenses as it is the only way that he knows how to get by.

Every Saturday criminals show up on Hawaii's Most Wanted. This guy has 28 priors, but still gets to roam the streets. If the legal system would just lock these guys up and keep them there, the public don't have to look out for them. We are potential victims. The system is waiting for someone to get seriously hurt or killed before they do something.
