Honolulu police are looking for Jeffrey Ellis in connection with an incident that happened last December.
"At approximately 2:40am, a resident of 1020 spencer street arrived home and observed a male she recognized as a former tenant going through the personal storage lockers located in individual parking stalls. and she seen him removing items and place them in a parked vehicle.," said Kim Buffett of Crimestoppers.
Police caught Ellis as he was leaving the scene.
"He had golf bags sticking out the back it was just a little 2 door Miata so he had items shoved in the trunk, trunk unable to close."
Ellis was arrested for burglary, as well as auto theft since the Miata had been reported stolen.
Eliis failed to show up for his review hearing last month .. and a 40-thousand dollar bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
Jeffrey Ellis is 40 years old., 5-feet-11-inches tall, and 151 pounds.
He has tattoos on his right arm and chest.
"And he's known to frequent the honolulu area and he does have 25 prior convictions."
