On this edition of Hawaii's Most Wanted we feature a man who's wanted on a warrant in connection with a burglary case.
Honolulu police are looking for Darrell Kaneshiro.
"On September 13, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. the complainant was at his home on Harding Avenue when he heard a noise in the patio area. He went out to check and saw a male holding several tools. He confronted the male," says Sgt. Kim Buffett of CrimeStoppers.
"The male fled towards the street, while on the street he started throwing cans and rocks at the complainant. The complainant's father came home, saw the commotion and followed the male who had left on a bicycle," Buffett says.
Kaneshiro was caught nearby and arrested for burglary.
He's now wanted on a $20,000 warrant for not complying with the terms of HOPE probation.
Darrell Kaneshiro is 49 years old, 5'8", 146 pounds.
"He has 14 prior convictions and they're for terroristic threatening, auto theft, regular theft, driving without a license, numerous CPDs, and he is known to hang out in the Honolulu and Waimanalo area," Buffett says.
