On this edition of Hawaii's Most Wanted we feature a woman who's wanted on a warrant in connection with a forgery case.
Honolulu police are looking for Brandie Navarro.
"On July 7, 2009 at about 10 a.m., she entered the Kapiolani branch of Bank of Hawaii and attempted to cash a check for a large amount of money. The owner of the check was called and stated he did not know who she was nor did he issue the check and the check had been cashed prior by someone," said Sgt. Kim Buffett of CrimeStoppers.
She was arrested for forgery and is now wanted on a $20,000 warrant for not showing up for her court hearing in May to modify the terms of her probation.
Brandie Navarro is 31 years old, 5'1" tall and 121 pounds.
"She has two prior convictions," said Buffett. "And she's known to frequent in the Waianae areas."
