On tonight's Hawaii's Most Wanted is a man who's facing several drug charges and is wanted on a warrant.

Honolulu police are looking for Bernard Purdy, stemming from an incident that happened last year.

An officer was sent to a Lanikai property to investigate a temporary restraining order violation.

Sergeant Kim Buffett says, "The officer responded to the case, pulls up, recognizes Purdy and the van and goes to approach him. Purdy exits the van and starts walking towards the back of the property. The officer follows and smells what he detects as marijuana. He confronts Purdy. Purdy is attempting to put it out in the back of the truck. In the meantime he's grabbing another wooden box."

Purdy and the officer then get into a fight over the box.

"Purdy drops the box and in the box are pipes, crystal meth and everything," Sergeant Buffett said.

Purdy was charged with promoting dangerous and detrimental drugs, resisting arrest and assaulting a law enforcement officer.

A $25,000 bench warrant was issued for his arrest last week after he failed to show up at court for his review hearing.

Bernard Purdy is 49-years old.

He's six feet tall and 155 pounds.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, call Crimestoppers at 955-8300.
