The Honolulu City Council is reorganizing, with several key leadership positions going to incoming members.
Council Chairman Nestor Garcia announced that Councilmember-elect Breene Harimoto will head the transportation and transit planning committee. He will also serve as Council vice-chair.
Councilmember-elect Ernie Martin will serve as Chairman of the budget committee.
Ann Kobayashi heads the planning committee, Ikaika Anderson the zoning committee.
And the winner of the special election to fill Todd Apo's seat will chair the parks and human services committee.
