House Minority Leader Lynn Finnegan is aiming to become the republican nominee for lieutenant governor.Today, she took the first step, filing her candidacy papers with the office of elections.
Finnegan has spent eight years in the legislature.
So far, attorney Adrienne King is the only other republican in the primary race.
