Its Christmas Eve and one local family is reminded they lost a part of their ohana on this day.
They have enlisted the help of Wake Up 2day's Pet Patrol.
Last seen somewhere in Pearl City on Christmas Eve last year "Abby" was startled by fireworks and apparently jumped the fence from her home in Waiau.
She is a golden lab mix, seven years-old and has been microchipped.
The family says they have not given up hope they will find her someday.
