KHON-TV Public Inspection File
The FCC (Federal Communications Commission) requires TV stations to maintain a public inspection file that
contains documents relevant to the station's operation and dealings
with the community and the FCC. The contents of the public inspection file is listed below. Hyperlinks are provided
for the reports the FCC require stations to post on their web sites.
Viewing the Public Inspection File: In addition to
viewing some of our files online, you may view our complete file during normal
business hours at the KHON-TV studio: 88 Piikoi Street, Honolulu,
Hawaii 96814. Although you do not need to make an appointment, making
one may be helpful to the station and to you. You may
request, either in person or telephonically, copies of materials in
the file which we will provide to you at a reasonable charge.

Television Programming Reports (FCC Form 398): TV
stations must prepare and retain in their files quarterly reports
identifying the educational and informational programming for

Children's Programming Commercial Limits: The FCC
rules limit the type and amount of advertising that may be aired
during TV programming directed to children 12 and under. Our public file contains compliance records. |

EEO: The FCC requires TV stations to afford equal opportunity in employment. To this end,
stations with five or more full-time employees must maintain records of its recruitment efforts and prepare
